We thought we would give you a bit of an insight into behind the scenes at Diverze and their thoughts of the perfect wedding photo.
What makes a perfect wedding photo?
A combination of factors such as, capturing a candid moment between the bride and groom, great light, and a great background.
What top tips can you give a bride on her wedding day on how to take a good photo?
Obviously choosing the right dress, great make-up and hair is a plus. Also to relax and enjoy the day. Smile and enjoy it. We will gently guide you with positioning, backgrounds and light to get the right photos.
What has been your strangest wedding photo request?
Taking photos of the bride’s rabbit “Honey” who was wearing her own floral corsage to feel part of the wedding day. Honey was very cute with her big floppy ears hopping around the house and being part of all the excitement!
What is the most common list of photos that are taken on the day?
Bride getting ready, photos with her bridesmaids and family, groom with his grooms men and family, arriving at the ceremony, walking down the aisle, vows, kiss and leaving the church together, congratulations, shots together, bridal party, details shots, reception. Really capturing & documenting everything on the day.
What is your most popular wedding package?
Do you do trash the dress photos?
No requests as yet but certainly can do!
Engagement photos? Yes we do pre wedding photos and we can make up a guest book with the photos to use at the reception or an enlargement for guests to sign.
Post wedding photos?
Lots of our past couples have come back to us with their pregnancy, baby and new family photos.
How do Diverze strive to be Eco Friendly?
We re-use manilla folders, just turn them inside out. Email invoices instead of print and send when possible, reuse other side of paper not needed any more for any notes etc. and email packages oppose to print and send to enquiries.
Is there anything that Brides and Grooms should be aware of when booking a photographer? Absolutely, unfortunately you do not need qualifications to say that you are a professional photographer. This means that you could actually say that you are a professional photographer! There are lots of so called photographers out there that do photography on the weekend for a little extra cash. We are not saying that they are all bad, but sadly many are and there are many disappointed couples after their wedding. Think about this ...would you want to go to an accountant that had no qualifications ? or a plumber to fix your pipes with no license? A professional photographer understands the principles of light, what to do if it rains, positioning and many other factors that goes into being an excellent professional photographer. In most cases you do pay for what you get. Is your wedding photography something you really want to risk?
Big thanks from Paperless Wedding for your support!
